"It is a great story that kids will love, and it has a complex story structure and interesting themes that make it a great tool to teach literacy and social studies."
Patricia Cunning, Executive Director of the MacBride Museum, noted that "Aurore of the Yukon has always delighted the kids at our Aurore camps, and is a great way to get young people involved in history. Aurore has been available to teachers in the school system for several years now, and Sarah's new teacher's guide will be a fantastic resource."

"So I couldn't be happier that students across the United States will be reading Yukon adventures, while at the same time improving their reading skills with the Read Side By Side program."
